A day of celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good, the Brook Dupont celebrated Veterans Day.

The Brook Hospital Dupont provides clinical care for the men and women and their families who are serving in our armed forces.  We are honored, as a treatment provider, to have developed a therapeutic relationship with the men and women who have served our country and hope that, during their state of crisis, we can intervene and begin the work of building a foundation of healing and recovery.

 On November 11, Veterans Day, we honored our soldiers with a small private ceremony where they planted flags and spoke about friends that were lost in combat.  The children and middle school patients wrote thank you letters to our veterans that were inpatient and had their art work posted on the military unit.  The staff also brought in fruits, cheeses and doughnuts as a “thank you” and appreciation of everything they do to protect our country.
